Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using revenantimber.com (the "Site") or purchasing from Revenant Timber & Reclaimed, operated by Wisconsin Reclamation Project ("Revenant Timber," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Our services

Revenant Timber operates two lines of business:

  • Material Supply — reclaimed structural beams, dimensional lumber, flooring, and custom-milled boards, sold on a custom-quote basis.
  • Furniture & Commissions — furniture built to order and sold directly through the Site, and fully custom commissions.

3. Quotes and pricing (Material Supply)

Reclaimed materials are hand-selected and priced per project — nothing in the online catalog is a binding offer or fixed price. Submitting a material inquiry does not create a contract. A quote becomes binding only once we confirm it with you in writing (email) and you accept it. We reserve the right to adjust quoted pricing if material availability, scope, or specifications change before an order is confirmed.

4. Orders and payment (Shop and Commissions)

  • Shop orders are paid in full at checkout through Stripe, our secure third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details.
  • Custom commissions typically require a deposit to begin design and sourcing, with the balance due before delivery. Deposit amounts and payment schedules will be confirmed with you before work begins.
  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable sales tax or shipping unless stated otherwise.

5. Shipping and delivery

  • We offer free local delivery in the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin area for furniture; shipping outside that area is quoted separately.
  • For reclaimed materials, we coordinate nationwide freight directly to your job site or facility; freight cost and timing are part of your confirmed quote.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances outside our control.
  • Risk of loss transfers to you once an order is handed to the carrier or delivered to the agreed location, whichever applies to your order.

6. Nature of reclaimed materials and furniture

Reclaimed wood is, by definition, salvaged and imperfect. Grain, patina, nail holes, saw marks, color, and exact dimensions will vary piece to piece and may differ from photos on the Site, which are representative rather than exact. This natural variation is a feature of reclaimed material, not a defect, except where it affects the structural integrity or usability of the piece as described in your order or quote.

7. Custom commission scope

Custom furniture is built to the specifications, dimensions, and reference materials (including any inspiration photos) you provide. Material availability may require reasonable substitutions of similar character; we will discuss any significant substitution with you before proceeding. Changes requested after work has started may affect price and timeline.

8. User-submitted content

If you upload an inspiration photo or other content through our forms, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us permission to view and use it solely to design, quote, and build your commission. We will not publish your submitted content publicly without your permission.

9. Intellectual property

All text, photos, graphics, and design on the Site belong to Revenant Timber & Reclaimed / Wisconsin Reclamation Project unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

10. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Site to submit false or fraudulent orders, attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security, or violate any applicable law.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly stated in this policy, our Refund Policy, or any written warranty we provide with a specific product.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revenant Timber & Reclaimed / Wisconsin Reclamation Project is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
